BLOOMING in BUSINESS
Being an entrepreneur for 18 years has brought on a plethora of experiences. I’ve had many successes in sales as well as failures. To be totally honest- deciding to correct and learn from my failures, it was has taken me to the greatest level I’ve experienced and I actually welcome more growth opportunity in life. So, I’m not necessarily saying that its failure in business that causes one to be successful, but I have personally learned that learning from my failures has catapulted me in my business endeavors.
My experiences have given me a burden for the new and aspiring entrepreneurs because I desire to see them flourish in their businesses without making the unnecessary mistakes that I made earlier in my business. The burden I have is to help direct and advise them in the areas of servicing their customers; as well as marketing for new customers. See many of us have no problem looking like a “Boss Chick”. We develop our websites, wear the T-Shirt, and hop on social media to sell our product. Although, we may look good, do we have proper structure and a foundation? Do we truly know how to service a customer? Do we have the fortitude to keep going even if we have lost the sale? Can we push past family and friends not supporting our businesses?
